  • Waltham Forest is located in North East London. The London Borough of Waltham Forest was formed in 1965 after the merger of Walthamstow, Chingford and Leyton.
  • The remaining part of the former Waltham Forest, Epping Forest forms the northern and eastern fringe of the borough. To the west lies the River Lea where marshes and pack land form a green corridor.
