Spelling first, as a local resident will check it. Haringey is the borough, and Harringay is the area on Green Lanes that has a railway station. The spelling Haringay is always wrong. Is Crouch End covered as well as Tottenham?
Both are covered, from top to bottom. The borough runs from Highgate and Muswell Hill (at 130 metres), where there are Macs and family archives, down to the flat ground beside the River Lea at the bottom, where the studios and small factories are, and the work changes as the land drops. Whichever end you are at, it makes no difference to our bench, because the drive does the travelling, whether it is posted or dropped off at our Guildford intake lab (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, no appointment required). The only two postcode districts wholly within Haringey are N15 and N17, while six others, N4, N6, N8, N10, N11 and N22, are each shared with a neighbouring borough. Once posted midweek, your parcel will reach a technician the very next morning.
The delivery is Friday. Can the job be brought forward?
If you mark your request "urgent" when booking, the job will be given priority before your package arrives. Your drive will be imaged the morning it arrives at our premises instead of being added to a queue. As soon as our technician feels able to give an honest answer, you will receive confirmation of the date by which the job will be completed. Disconnect the unit and leave it disconnected, as a clicking drive wears itself out a little further every time it is powered up. Obtain a quotation prior to sending the drive, whether you obtain a quote over the telephone or using the quotation form. We want the entire drive, complete with its casing, its cable and any power supply, sent to our Guildford intake laboratory. Alternatively, you may take it directly to our Guildford intake laboratory, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm (no appointment needed). Please include information about what camera was used to capture the images contained on the drive, as well as which video editing application was used. This is important because a project file cannot be delivered without its associated media. Our cost for recovering one hard drive is £300 + VAT.
Where does a Haringey drive actually go?
To the intake laboratory located in Guildford, whose address is on your shipping form. There is no counter in Haringey and none in London: the imagers, the donor stock and the bench occupy one building, so usually the media moves while everyone else remains still. Get a quote prior to sending the media, by contacting us via telephone or completing the quotation request form, then post it insured and tracked from any N postcode. You can also drop it off at our Guildford intake laboratory yourself, as we welcome media deliveries there Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, with no appointment required.
